"Nonviolent Communication is instrumental in creating an extraordinary quality of life. This compassionate and inspiring message cuts right to the heart of successful communication.”
Anthony Robbins, author, Awaken the Giant Within and Unlimited Power

At first NVC can seem like a "foreign language" and a significant departure from the way we are used to looking at things. Following are several ways you can learn, practice and share NVC:

NVC Learning Tools There are several Nonviolent Communication resources available if you choose to study on your own or with a small group. Around the world people gather in NVC “practice groups” for learning and community, using self-guided materials from our resources section or bookstore.

Get Involved with NVC Supporters You can connect with others who are sharing learning and practicing NVC in your area or around the world. There are practice groups, e-Forums and topical groups organized by geographical area, topic of interest or language in which you can participate. Find out about Groups.

NVC Trainings are a great way to learn and exchange experiences with other NVC supporters. Trainings range from daytime or evening introductions, half-day workshops, 1-8 day trainings and on-going practice sessions to residential trainings and special trainings designed for specific groups or topics. Search our global schedule of NVC trainings.

International Intensive Trainings (IITs) are produced several times a year in various locations around the globe. An IIT is a 9-day Nonviolent Communication "immersion experience" residential workshop typically including 40 to 70 participants with three to five CNVC Certified Trainers. The purpose of these training is to offer people the opportunity to live Nonviolent Communication in community over an extended period of time to develop Nonviolent Communication skills and consciousness. Find more information about IITs or register for an IIT.

Invite a Trainer to Your Area Marshall Rosenberg and other CNVC Certified Trainers are also hired by organizations and individuals to conduct training workshops. You can request a CNVC trainer to come to your area, or request Marshall to come to your area.

Conflict Resolution Training for Groups and Organizations Over the past 40 years, Marshall and CNVC have helped transform conflict and violence into cooperation and compassion. They have worked with disparate groups ranging from relationships and families in conflict to gangs in the U.S. and warring factions in areas such as Nigeria, the Balkans and the Middle East. Marshall Rosenberg and the Training Team at CNVC have offered NVC mediation, reconciliation and conflict coaching to hundreds of people and groups globally. Request a conflict resolution training.
