It has been more than 2 years since I agreed to come to CNVC as an interim director, which included getting myself an IT development coach to address creating a new interactive website for CNVC. I have learned things I never even thought I wanted to learn! Being part of the Information Technology committee has certainly been a stretch as the non-techie. And now, amazingly, in the last few days I have spent hours posting GCC pages in English, Spanish, German, and French in preparation for the launch of this new website.
I have so much appreciation for the many contributions including:
- Kay Schwarzrok's proposing Drupal for a new website,
- John Wiley's vision and persistence,
- Marcus Pallo's support early on, and now again with setting up the German pages,
- Jake Gotwals' guiding a development process
- Marcus Stobbs' support in working with the look and feel and structural ideas,
- as well as the contributions of Chris Miller, Margo Pair, Linnaea Marvel, Roger Sanders, and probably some others I am not remembering or aware of....
AND my dear friend WILLIAM POEHNER who has lead the development of this new website, spending many hours, sometimes late into the night researching and working on the incredible number of details that have lead to this new website. Much of the time I watched him do this, he seemed to be playing!
Help fulfill the dream of this new website by participating in posting blog entries and offering articles for the online newspaper.
Hooray!
