In the present day world Violence and conflict are recurring themes. We are all confronted by catastrophes resulting from pitiable human relations. From newspapers, television news, the internet et al, we are daily exposed to the psychological and physical manifestations of violence and conflict by the mass media — flashing images portraying humiliation, degradation, genocide or war. Violence and conflict is socially destructive and though seemingly omnipresent, I look forward to a world that lives in harmony.
