Our aim is to support you to acquire a clear basic understanding of the NVC process and how you can use it in your daily life - in personal, social or work situations. We intend to do this by outlining the main elements of NVC and providing opportunities for you to practice expressing them in different contexts - out loud, through writing and through role-play in small groups of 2 or 3. We see this course as providing a 'foundation' for you, so that you can progress with NVC in your daily life and in further trainings if you so desire. This class is for experienced hikers who enjoy an intermediate pace. We will hike the front country trails through canopied canyons beside creeks and pools and up and down the coast along Santa Barbara’s beaches.
