Deepening workshops of Nonviolent Communication (5x2 days, dates: May 12th/13th, June 9th/10th, August 16th/17th, September 16th/17th, Ocotber 14th/15th)
These 10 days will focus on “inner work” and exploring our relationships and dialogues with ourselves and situations that trigger us. The workshops will help you to discover choices we didn’t know we had and the tools to relate to yourself with a greater sense of compassion.
We offer the opportunity to come for the first workshop to get to know me and then sign up for the rest.
In my experience before we can connect compassionately with others we first need to learn to connect compassionately with ourselves.
The workshop is also an opportunity to become part of a group that continues developing NVC skills and consciousness over the time.

Dialogue with Thom Bond (212) 496-3111
Course Description:
When we have established our journey to hear others empathically and express ourselves honestly, requests are how we connect to the life in others and help others understand the aliveness in us. They are the practical tools we can use to deepen understanding and heart connection and transcend conflict in real time in the real world.
This is where we use all our skills and awareness and in many ways represents the most spiritual part of NVC practice. In advanced practice, requests help us discover our own attachments and suffering and give us the opportunity to transform how we move in the world and in our relationships. The workshop is designed to maximize learning through the introduction of concepts followed by exercises and role plays.
This is an Intermediate/Advanced training. Beginner track option is available with consultation and agreement. Please call Thom Bond at 212 496 3111 if you are interested in this option.

Course Description:
This is a 2-day non-residential foundation training in NVC. Our aim is to support you to acquire a clear basic understanding of the NVC process and how you can use it in your daily life - in personal, social or work situations. We intend to do this by outlining the main elements of NVC and providing opportunities for you to practice expressing them in different contexts - out loud, through writing and through role-play in small groups of 2 or 3. We see this course as providing a 'foundation' for you, so that you can progress with NVC in your daily life and in further trainings if you so desire. Please visit our website for more information and to read comments from previous participants.

Course Description:

NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will
be practice oriented, to help you develop and rejuvenate your skill
with NVC.
