This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions. Participants can facilitate the group with prior arrangement with Rodger Sorrow

NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will
be practice oriented, to help you develop and rejuvenate your skill
with NVC.

Inner-outer congruence is key to being an effective leader. When your vision emerges from a place of deep presence and purpose, and strategies are in alignment with values, then trust is built and power is created with other people. NVC supports inner-outer congruence. Much more than a communication model, NVC is an integration of consciousness, language, thought, communication and strategies of influence. When understood at all these levels, NVC gives rise to power and possibility that can transform our effectiveness in the world. This course will use the following books:
Presence- Senge, Scharmer, Jaworski, Flowers, Synchronicity-Jaworski, Leadership and the New Science-Wheatley, Practicing Servant Leadership- Spears and Lawrence, editors, Theory U: Leading From the Future as It Emerges-Scharmer.

We will explore through discussion, small group exercises and individual inner work how we live 'connection with life', what disconnects us, and , specifically, how to connect with the living energy of needs; we will practise skills and exercises that enable us to live/empathize from this energy.

If you teach NVC in any form, or plan to, this would be a critical understanding that often transforms people's ability to use nvc language effectively and naturally.

I en konfliktsituation gælder det om at få kontakt først. Når der er kontakt mellem parterne vil der ofte kunne findes frem til en løsning som ingen af parterne havde tænkt i forvejen, og som indeholder begge parters interesser.

Kurset har som et af sine mål
at bidrage til deltagernes viden om hvordan de kan forandre fastlåste konflikter ved at forandre sproget. Der gives både teori og træning i at kommunikere på måder der afspænder konflikter og beriger livet for en selv og for andre.
