This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions.

NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will
be practice oriented, to help you develop and rejuvenate your skill
with NVC.

Course Description: 

The purpose of Radiant Giraffes is full embodiment of the spirituality of NVC, deepening our abilities to live in compassion with ourselves and others, through NVC and complementary modalities. Sessions will involve empathy, empathy coaching, self-empathy, honesty, role plays, Special Topics (guilt, anger, etc.), and new learnings. Between the sessions, Holly will initiate further opportunities for learning (readings, exercises, etc.) over email.
