This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. In this Nonviolent Communication workshop we will learn to:

•Become aware of the internal messages that promote guilt and shame.
•Connect and empathize with the unmet needs underlying guilt and shame. Thus, transforming such feelings into life-serving energy.
•Shine light on unconscious guilt and shame impeding self-love and self-acceptance.
•Understand the mechanics of fear.
•Learn to fully enter and intimately observe fear, thus freeing oneself from it.

We'll use participants’ situations and various tools (e.g. role-plays, NVC Dance Floors, No-Fault Game mats and cards, Surround Sound Feedback) to attend to what's up for you and to develop your NVC fluency.

This workshop, consisting mainly of exercises and role plays, is for those who have had at least a one day introductory training in NVC and wish to increase their fluency in the process.

NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will

This 5 day 'Living NVC' experience allows the integration of NVC to happen in a natural way.
