Course Description:

Deepening workshops of Nonviolent Communication (5x2 days, dates: May 12th/13th, June 9th/10th, August 16th/17th, September 16th/17th, Ocotber 14th/15th)
These 10 days will focus on “inner work” and exploring our relationships and dialogues with ourselves and situations that trigger us. The workshops will help you to discover choices we didn’t know we had and the tools to relate to yourself with a greater sense of compassion.
We offer the opportunity to come for the first workshop to get to know me and then sign up for the rest.
In my experience before we can connect compassionately with others we first need to learn to connect compassionately with ourselves.
The workshop is also an opportunity to become part of a group that continues developing NVC skills and consciousness over the time.

Course Description:

We will focus on the beauty of needs, i.e. that it is the needs that are connecting us across all cultures and appreciate the diversities of the strategies to meet them.
The intention is to bring people together from the North/West of our globe or maybe worldwide and from Rusinga Island, other parts of Kenya and maybe from other parts of Africa in order to.
1. learn how to live in daily life and spread NVC
2. connect people from different cultures, to get to know, share and appreciate the gifts of different cultures
3. create sustainable connections between participants to build an international community for mutual exchange and support
4. to support people living on the island in that we live with them and pay for accommodation and food (most of them are unemployed, there are many orphans due to aids. Many people experience hunger. With our contribution for accommodation and food we support families to get food for at least the time we are with them)
