Public Message:
Shira Peterson enjoys learning and sharing communication skills and peer practices that foster authenticity, connection, and personal transformation. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and currently works as a research associate at Children’s Institute in Rochester, NY, developing and evaluating programs to support parents and child care providers. She is particularly interested in helping facilitators recognize and respond to adult learners' "stages of change." Shira participates in several NVC practice groups and in 2011 she completed the Parent Peer Leadership Program offered by BayNVC.
