I get excited about the research that suggests we are cooperative beings, seeking connection and belonging, and that our language influences our perception of the world. My inspiration comes from nature and my dream is to work with other educators to bring compassion into the classroom to create resilient life-serving systems of shared power, choice, and innovation. My NVC journey started as a way for me to connect with others, and has led me to a way to stay connected with myself. I am learning to be present in each moment, so that I can bring my best into the world. I am grateful to Marshall for teaching me about "the oneness". To Linnaea Marvell for teaching me to play with the beautiful energy of my jackals, and to live from the inside out. To Robert Gonzales for helping me to find strength in vulnerability and to connect with the sweet spot behind the pain. To Jorge Rubio for showing me how to explore the most exciting place - the present moment. And to Kathleen Macferran for helping me to connect to the dream - and to abundance!
