I live my life passionately, love to laugh and and weave together elements of interactive play and energy in all that I do.
I have combined my skills to create trainings that are fun and founded on laughter. NVC turned my life upside down and me inside out. I spent many years searching for a tool that could ‘make a difference’ in the world and when I met NVC was hooked straight away. The accessibility, simplicity and the fact that it WORKS caught my attention back then, and still does.
I believes that empathy is the first step towards REAL connection, and an essential part of ensuring an effective and sustainable outcome. Time after time I have witnessed the power of NVC. I also like that it isn’t' ‘flaky’ which means people can access it with more ease. I have a specific interest in adolescents, having an understanding of what drives them. I can translate their shrugs, grunts, graffiti, risky behaviour into a language that 'grown ups' can hear.
I met NVC in 2005 and have facilitated trainings since 2007. I have worked with groups of adolescents, youth workers, teachers, parents, health professionals,and business people.
Trainings: Range From a 2 hour presentation to a full weekend workshop and can be designed to suit the needs of the organisation and/or community.
