Support Trainers - Doug Dolstad and Barbara Larson
Barbara & Doug attended their first IIT twelve years ago and their lives have never been the same. That first IIT changed my life; I felt a freedom from the prison of judgmental thinking, at choice and alive at the deepest levels, and an increased capacity to contribute to our world, says Barbara. We're delighted to be part of a team offering that experience to others. They've been serving as trainers at IIT's for six years, and bring with them a passion for living the process, sharing their personal journeys and insights, and inviting participants into the power-with spirit of the IIT and life.
They have a particular sweet spot for parents, partners, youth, and families, hosting NVC Family Camp on their Vashon Island farm for seven years. (nvcfamilycamp.org) Doug and Barbara are founding members of Northwest Compassionate Communication (nwcompass.org) and Barbara serves as an assessor with CNVC's trainer certification team. We're looking forward to learning, playing & growing with everyone who gives themselves the gift of this nine-day immersion into compassion for self (first!), other and the world.
