CNVC Staff Meeting

Present: Margo Pair, Elin Skappel, Marisa Sleeter, Randy Eoff, Kendra Rodriugez, Jay Forrest

• Check In
• No new Google Doc Agenda items or Feedback form entries
• Agenda Items
• “Housekeeping”- review cleaning schedule during Ron’s absence
• Accounts Receivable changes

Certification/ Accounts Receivable

• Shortly we will be sending letters to the list of candidates already registered before the stop to registration to connect with them, gather information about them, and assess how many people are still interested in continuing with their certification  
• Creating a google doc form/spreadsheet for ease of capturing, entering and storing information
• After Elin and Marisa have walked through the process of creating the google document and spreadsheet, Marisa will teach anyone in the office who would like to learn.
• 2009 Trainer Reports will be requested after we do some extensive beta and “tolerance” testing of the application, and as soon as the new website goes live
• Discussion about new A/R procedures
• Margo and Marisa have discussed the “open invoices” report and want to make changes to the procedures. Marisa will be connecting with individual staff members to discuss how best to collect and store all information about an open invoice (email communications, any out of the norm arrangements, etc) so that all information can be kept and followed-up on in one place.
• Marisa will be out of the office on vacation April 12-19, 2010, we will be discussing backup and cross training at the next office meeting

IIT/IT

• Kendra has joined our team, and is doing a great job learning the “ins and outs” of the IIT program and adding her own ideas and personality to her job responsibilities. Welcome Kendra!
• By May, Elin expects that Kendra will be “running the show” with Elin there to help when she is needed. This will free Elin for some IT projects, working with Margo, etc.
• June IIT: 25 enrolled/14 awaiting tuition reduction awards
• Elin is expecting more applicants in the coming weeks, as they send advertisements
• Elin will be updating Quickbooks in the coming weeks one day when she arrives early- please do not update your Quickbooks by yourself!
• Policy Reminder: Please log out of Quickbooks during lunch breaks and when you leave for the day for privacy, protection and backing up each night.

Bookstore

• We are now carrying a new book- “Choose Your Words”
• Participants of the CFHI/CNVC teleconference receive a 10% discount on this book
• Jay has made a new order form, and will be including it in shipments that go to customers to encourage return customers
• Jay has created a “certificate of membership” for people that choose to purchase a membership. The membership allows customers a 10% discount on all bookstore merchandise for one year

Bookkeeping

• Randy will be out of the office next week (March 29-April 2)
