Dharma Practice and Nonviolent Communication

Jean Morrison, MA, Certified Trainer with CNVC since '89 will join vipassana teacher: Don Rothberg at the exquisitely serene and beautiful meditation center, SPIRIT ROCK, in West Marin County (1 hr north of San Francisco). Connecting our meditation practice with our speech and communication is one of the main ways to bring spiritual values into our everyday lives and our actions into the world. In this retreat, we will link mindfulness and lovingkindness practice, the Buddha's teachings on wise speech, and the contemporary discipline of "Nonviolent Communication" (NVC).
The retreat is designed both for those who want to bring more attention to speech as a spiritual practice, and those who have emphasized communication and want further grounding in meditation. Both new and experienced meditators and NVC students welcome! Come to relax, learn, integrate teachings, share wisdom, enjoy yourself, be in community, be nurtured, and find more of yourself.
