Location(s)
This intermediate level workshop will be aimed at meeting the needs of people who have read Marshall Rosenberg’s book, “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life” and have had at least a one day workshop or been in a NVC practice group for at least 6 months, and would like to see themselves using NVC communication skills with more ease, comfort and delight. You may also want to experience more compassionate connection with others.
Some possible topics of exploration (dependent on needs of participants) include:
- Deepening Needs Awareness and transcending the pain of unmet needs
- Hearing “No” and Saying “No” with strength, gentleness and compassion
- Staying in a Full NVC Dialogue
- Taking Responsibility for Our Feelings – Translating ‘Have-to’, ‘Should’, ‘Must’, etc.
- Harvesting the power and beauty of Gratitude to self and others
- Create internal safety and develop emotional freedom in any situation
- Practice responding consciously and constructively when you and/or the other person are emotionally triggered
- Experience the power of Empathy to heal old pain from unexpressed emotions
- Learn and practice Self-Empathy
- Learn to formulate clear, positive action Requests
