Everyday Nonviolent Communication: Street NVC
Everyday Nonviolent Communication: Street NVC
Saturday, February 18th 9:30-5:30
Want to improve your NVC Street Credentials?
Looking for more fluency and ease in living NVC everyday?
Want to practice NVC in a “natural” way?
You're invited to attend Street NVC! Practice your Everyday Nonviolent Communication skills with your NVC community in Florida’s Gulf Coast at the Bradenton Center Montessori School. This workshop is led by NYC’s Dian Killian, PhD., a Certified Trainer with the CNVC and author of NVC books.
Come join us for this one-day exploration of fully living in the consciousness and intention of NVC: Creating connection, understanding and trust—every day!
Register now – early registration ends Feb 8th and seats are limited! http://www.regonline.com/StreetNVC_FL12
Some of the practices we may explore (depending on participant interest):
Fully embodying (in a lived/somatic way) NVC consciousness
Practicing a form of NVC that matches your own natural word choices
Matching the language and tone of others so that they feel at ease with NVC
Demystifying empathy guessing so as to increase your fluency
Responding to resistance or judgment from others when attempting to empathically connect with them
In this interactive workshop, making use of pair work, exercises, games and role play, you will deepen your feelings and needs vocabulary and your self-connection, and explore a way of practicing NVC that is easy, flowing, and authentic for you.
Those attending are asked to have completed four hours of NVC training and/or read a book on NVC to support everyone’s learning and inclusion.
