LEAD TRAINER: ROBERT GONZALES
Robert’s passion is in the spirituality of compassionate communication. He sees compassionate communication both as a process that helps us connect more authentically with ourselves and others, and as a spiritual practice and a way of living.

Robert Gonzales received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1989. He met Marshall Rosenberg and Nonviolent Communication in 1985, and has been offering Nonviolent Communication training in some form since 1986. His original training is as a licensed psychotherapist.

Robert has offered Nonviolent Communication training for community colleges, high schools, churches, social workers, psychologists, mediators, teenagers and public groups. He has taught psychology, counseling and communication at Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona. In June 2000, he established the Prescott Center for Nonviolent Communication.

SUPPORT TRAINER: CATE CROMBIE
Cate has been a facilitator of communication courses for over 20 years. Her workshops and training is offered in a variety of settings: from corporate training, parenting workshops in community centres, university, to in-service training in the social services sector. Cate also offers personal or private sessions in deep empathy, working with couples, individuals wanting to deepen the NVC process for personal healing, reconciliation and mediation.

Working in a gentle and empowered experiential style, Cate invites participants to work with examples from their own lives. Her workshops and private work involve a balance of support as well as challenge that people say they find both stimulating and enjoyable!

SUPPORT TRAINER: CHRISTLIN RAJENDRAM
I met Marshall and NVC when I was studying in Ohio State University in 1996 through Maria Mankien, a close friend of mine, who was then the secretary at CNVC. NVC reinforced my studies at the University. I was involved with Paulo Freire and the Sense-Making studies at the time and NVC just gave it all a new form. I fell in love with the process. When I returned to Sri Lanka I invited Marshall to introduce NVC to Sri Lanka and I introduced it to my teaching at the University.

Since then I have met wonderful NVC people and I wished that the whole world be full of people who lived NVC. I began my journey living NVC with 20 children who had lost their parents in the war in Sri Lanka. It has been a great journey of learning and I am looking forward to continue the journey learning with this IIT team

SUPPORT TRAINER: VICKY PEIRCE
Vicky Peirce lives in, and works mainly in South Gloucestershire, UK, offering residential Living NVC experiences and other NVC related trainings at the 'Come to Life' Barn. Her passion is in deep healing that can result from the inner enquiry that NVC encourages alongside more recent integration of the work of Robert Gonzales and the 'Living Energy of Needs'.

She works with individuals, couples and small groups, offering a fluid, open and explorative space to live a quality of non-judgmental acceptance for who we are and how we can show up in any given moment.......a place of compassionate care for our unique individuality and expression of being, with all the ways we have learnt over years being met with love and consideration, for ourselves and each other.
